Notes From Overground III
Consisting of collages: Notes From Overground III; which is Ahmet Elhan's second solo exhibition held at Evin Art Gallery, utilizes this prevalent technique of the 20th century modern artists while criticizing the concepts of modernity. Elhan uses contradictory colors such as red and green in his striking compositions and amplifies the effects of his critical language that prevails throughout the exhibition.
Brave New World, Anew
Curated by Osman Nuri İyem; "Brave New World, Anew" exhibition consists of longitudinal works by the artists who have been represented by, worked with or collaborated with the gallery. The exhibition contains works by Rahmi Aksungur, Setenay Alpsoy, Tuğçe Arıöz, Ahmet Elhan, Neş'e Erdok, Kader Genç, Hakan Gürsoytrak, Nasip İyem, Nuri İyem, Işıl Şimşek, Temür Köran, Emin Turan and Devin Oktar Yalkın.
Obsidian
Devin Oktar Yalkın’s first solo exhibition in Turkey; Obsidian includes a carefully curated group of works selected from the artist’s "Nemesis" and "Alone Together" series which have been years in the making. Yalkın’s black and white photographs where minimal subjects are shown in a striking way with high contrast, invite the viewer on a mysterious journey of their own imaginations.
Ambiguous
Temür Köran, with his 22nd solo exhibition opened in our gallery titled "Ambiguous"; focuses on reflecting the shuddery that appears behind the beautiful and ambiguous emotions that various global crises such as the pandemic causes. He depicts figures in abstracted spaces created by colorful layers.
